Independent / Self-Employed

Independent / Self-Employed is the closest thing to a company name for the work nobody assigned me: Al-Hadra, a freelance client build, and the smaller tools I kept needing. It runs alongside my role at Openprovider rather than ending when that role started, and it is some of the most self-directed engineering of my career.

Al-Hadra started with my own real need: I've had a headless version running in my own home since the day I had the idea, and people who saw it wanted one too, which is why I'm now building it into a full product line. MakkahMadinahGuide.com is a freelance engagement where a real client trusted me to carry their whole idea to a live production site, alone, start to finish. The smaller tools, a laptop-deal appraiser and this graph's own sourcing pipeline, came out of the same stretch: real problems I kept hitting and decided to solve properly instead of working around.
