Chat conversations
If you use the chat, the conversation is saved: your messages, the replies, and when each was sent. It's kept for 90 days and then deleted automatically, and it isn't linked to your IP address or to an account. I read saved chats to improve the answers and to follow up when a conversation looks like it's heading toward working together. Your browser tab remembers which conversation is yours until you close it. The chat panel says this too, and links here.
Who else sees a chat
Your messages are sent to OpenAI to write the replies. OpenAI's terms for this kind of use say it doesn't train its models on them. Chats also reach me by email, so a copy can stay in my inbox after the 90 days. If you leave your email address in the chat, it's sent to me along with the conversation so I can reply.
Contact form
The contact form sends your name, email address and message to my inbox, and you'll get an automatic reply confirming it arrived. I don't keep it anywhere else.
Booking a call and WhatsApp
The calendar is Cal.com's booking page, shown inside this site. What you enter to book goes to Cal.com and to me, and Cal.com's own privacy policy covers its part, including the cookies it sets inside the calendar. The WhatsApp button just opens WhatsApp: nothing is shared until you send a message there, and WhatsApp's own terms apply.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies of its own and doesn't follow you around the web. Visits are counted in aggregate by two services, without tracking cookies or a profile of individual visitors. Vercel, which hosts the site, counts page views and how fast pages load. Umami counts which pages and graph entries get opened, how long a page stays open, where a visit came from, and whether someone sent a message or booked a call. It never receives what you type into the chat or the contact form. Umami sees your IP address and browser details to tell visits apart and work out your country, and doesn't keep the address. The only cookies you'll meet here are Cal.com's, inside the booking calendar.
Turning analytics off
Switch this off and this browser stops sending visit counts to Vercel and Umami. The choice is saved in this browser only, so it lasts until you clear this site's data.
Bot protection
Starting a chat or sending the contact form first runs a quick bot check from Cloudflare, which sees your IP address and basic details about your browser. Your IP address is also used briefly to stop floods of automated requests. It's never saved with your chat or your message.
Questions or a deletion request
Get in touch through the contact options on this site and I'll delete anything of yours, saved chats and emailed copies included. Chats aren't tied to who you are, so tell me roughly when you chatted and what you asked.
