Al-Hadra product line and hardware design

Once people saw the Mini prototype running in my house and asked for their own, the personal project became a planned product line, and this is the hardware and industrial-design side of that shift.

Three devices, evaluated against different real use cases rather than one form factor stretched to fit all of them:

• Misbah, a 10-inch touchscreen flagship for a main living space
• Kawkab, a compact desk unit for a bedroom or office
• Athir, a headless audio-only unit for anywhere a screen isn't wanted

A companion app is planned alongside them, for setup and configuration without needing physical access to each device. Before committing to a hardware direction, I evaluated multiple platforms against cost, power draw, and availability: Orange Pi boards, other Raspberry Pi variants, repurposed Android car displays, and even low-spec laptops as a stopgap flagship option.

I'm doing the 3D enclosure modeling myself in Autodesk Fusion, for both wall-mount and tabletop form factors, since the physical object a family keeps in a living room has different constraints than a board sitting exposed on a shelf, and getting that wrong undoes a lot of good software work.
