Matrix24x7: retail kiosk RMM integration

The platform sat inside PCI DSS scope, so every design decision on the payment-adjacent kiosk paths had to hold up under that. The Matrix24x7 SDKs exposed RESTful APIs and followed defined messaging patterns to bridge a C#.NET backend, talking over TCP/IP sockets, to Java-based Android edge devices, with gRPC and Android Messenger IPC handling the on-device messaging between client apps and the platform's own processes.

Past the SDK itself, I owned release and deployment for a subset of the platform's components, which meant I was the one on the hook when something shipped broken, not just when something got built.

I maintained the relationship with the client's own offshore QA team, worked directly with the hardware integration team to get the SDKs behaving correctly against real kiosk hardware, and trained new users and external developers on the platform once it was live. I also sat in on interviews for trainee and full engineering candidates, on the phone and in person, alongside mentoring the ones who joined.
