Part-time, validated by Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen and taught through the Informatics Institute of Technology in Colombo, January 2020 through November 2022, done alongside full-time work for almost all of it: Zone24x7 through the end of that first year, a short gap, then TrueStory from May 2021 through to the end, with a part-time APIIT visiting-lecturer stint running in parallel through most of 2022.

Eight modules across data warehousing, advanced databases, statistical analysis in R, data mining, big data programming, text analytics, cloud computing and research methods, each with its own real coursework project rather than exam-only assessment. The spread runs wider than "big data" alone suggests: relational and NoSQL database design sit next to a full cloud-architecture build on AWS, and classical statistics in R sits next to deep-learning NLP comparisons.

Doing this part-time while working meant every module competed directly with a real job for the same hours, which is part of why the projects lean practical, dimensional modeling, cloud pipelines, classification pipelines, built to be used, not just graded.
